Jarvis Landry Suits Up Sunday

Jarvis Landry suited up for the Miami Dolphins on Sunday despite a lingering knee injury that kept him limited in practice all week. The Dolphins listed Landry as questionable going into Sunday, but Miami’s slot receiver took the field nonetheless.

Throughout the week, Dolphins head coach Adam Gase assured the media that Landry’s knee injury was not serious, describing it as “banged up a little.”

Landry performed well in Miami’s 20-6 loss to the Jets on Sunday, as the 24-year-old brought in six of 11 targets for 48 yards. He came second on the team in receptions behind DeVante Parker and received double-digit targets for the second time in as many games this season.

The fourth-year receiver has shown solid rapport with new quarterback Jay Cutler. Landry has hauled in 19 receptions on 26 targets for 126 yards in the opening two games of 2017.  He’s showcased sure hands and the ability to get open underneath as a nice safety blanket for Cutler.

Landry and the Dolphins will be heading to London next week to take on the New Orleans Saints at Wembley Stadium. Game is set to kickoff at 9:30 AM (ET).
