Jarvis Landry played a vital role in helping the Miami snap its two-game losing streak Sunday with a 16-10 win over the Titans.
Landry’s six-yard touchdown with 10:33 left to play in the fourth quarter broke a 10-10 tie and turned out to be the game-winning score.
Landry was targeted heavily after fellow starting receiver DeVante Parker went down with an ankle injury. Despite the extra attention from Tennessee’s secondary, Landry proved able to best the Titans.
Landry’s 10 targets led Dolphins receivers, and the 24-year old reeled in five receptions for 44 yards and the game-winning touchdown. The score came on a crucial third-and-goal from the six-yard line. With the game tied, quarterback Jay Cutler dropped back and found Landry on an out-route to the right. Landry caught the pass just in front of the goal line and lunged backward into the end zone.
